William Harry Ruble

William Harry Ruble resident of Jefferson, Tx passed away on March 27, 2022 at his home in the presence of his family after a short battle with cancer.

He was born July 13, 1946 to Howard and Deloris Ruble in Osceola, Iowa. He grew up in Iowa until he was 18.  From there he and Carol along with their two children, David and Amy, moved numerous times and many states as part of the SDA church where he was a very active member and a leader.  He was a mentor to both members within and without the Jefferson Christian Academy where he worked and worshipped. 

Bill was an animal lover, avid bee keeper and worked in the construction trades. 

Bills’ motto was:  Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might.

He is survived by his wife of 57 plus years, Carol Ruble, son David and his wife Mary of Iowa, daughter Amy and her wife Kristy of Minnesota, brother Richard Ruble and his wife Loretta of New Mexico along with six grandchildren and three great grandchildren and one niece. 

A memorial will be held Wednesday, March 30 at 1000 AM at the Jefferson Academy SDA Church with a Celebration of Life immediately following.  All are invited to attend.
