Zaynan De'Vaudrick Rich

Memorial services for Zaynan De’Vaudrick Rich, 24, of Texarkana, Texas will be held on Monday, April 25, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. in the Captain Wm Perry Chapel of Haggard Funeral Home, 203 East Clarksville, Jefferson, Texas with William Smith officiating under the direction of Haggard Funeral Home of Jefferson, Texas. 

Zaynan De’Vaudrick Rich was born January 14, 1998 in Marshall, TX to the parents of Sabrina Green (LeDoux) and Wayne Rich. He was raised in Jefferson by his mother, father and step-mother, Lacy Rich.  He graduated from Jefferson High School in 2016 and attended Kilgore College.

Zaynan enjoyed his job at Walmart and spending time with his best friends and cousins. They often took cross country camping trips, sleeping out under the stars and making coffee over a hot fire.   When visiting his mother, Zaynan enjoyed a slice of her homemade buttermilk pie, then he would then take the entire second pie home for himself.

Zayan also enjoyed Mamma and Pappa’s annual barge parties.  Jumping off the top of the barge was a requirement in exchange for a hamburger and a homemade oreo blizzard. 

Zaynan’s best friend and girlfriend, Savannah McCrary lived in Texarkana, TX.  They met at work and enjoyed cooking and watching TV together. Zaynan indulged in the art of making his own gourmet coffee. He and Savannah also spent time listening to vinyl records.   

Zaynan was preceded in death by his father, Wayne Rich and his grandparents , Harrie and Linda Hill.   Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Sabrina Green LeDoux, (step-father)Brian LeDoux,(step-mother)Lacy Rich, brother JaQuawnzi Randle, (wife)Samantha and nephew, Kase.   His grandparents Buddy and Norma Rich, Aunts Jennifer Campbell, (husband)David, and Fran Hale.   First Cousins Jade Smith, Tra’Zavion Johnson, William Smith, Ja’Miyah Hale, Jhayden Hale along with a host of aunts, uncles, relatives and friends. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Texarkana Animal League, Inc. 5820 Richmond Rd. Texarkana, TX 75503 in memory of Zaynan Rich.

Zaynan’s adventurous spirit had led him to soar above the clouds in a passionate pursuit of obtaining his pilot's license.
