Mr.Fred Ordelheide
December 23, 1947 ~ June 18, 2017 (age 69) 69 Years OldFred was a great guy and friend. All of his Acacia Fraternity brothers will miss him. 646
Fred and I have been neighbors for nearly the last 20 years. August 30, 2016 I took Fred for an out-patient procedure in Longview. Since we both were in our 60's and batchelors, the plan was to swap out driving duties for each other as needed. The results of the biopsy in early September voided Fred's obligation to me as far as I was concerned. He kept offering to do his part for me as late as mid May 2017 although he had earned a pass in my book early September 2016. That guy was a man of his word to the end. I'm sad because I lost a good friend. He kept his chin up and saw the humor in life. At least now his trials are through and to Fred, my neighbor and friend; May you Rest In Peace. I convey my heartfelt condolences to all friends and family of this great guy.
Franzen, you brighten and lighten the load at Stephenson. I wish I had met the man that had a role in making you who you are.
I was so saddened to hear of Fred's death. I met Fred at OSU. I went to the Army and Fred went to the Navy. We returned to OSU after the service and Fred brought me into the Acacia Fraternity. We were roommates and lived in an apt outside of Stillwater, along with Mac Wier, until we graduated. Fred was a dear friend and we had so many fond times together! Dave Dacus
What a good guy. Fred, you will be missed by all. God bless
I'm saddened to hear of Fred's passing. I remember him as a competitive player on the tennis team at Putnam City HS - one of the great tennis guys I was good friends with in high school. At OSU, I continued to see him at Acacia House. He was a respectful, kind and gentle man. Sending loving thoughts to his family and friends.
Dear Fransen, Your Dad and I were close friends in high school and college. We did a lot together. Fishing, hunting, etc. And played a lot of tennis. He was a good guy and always good for a laugh. I am sorry for your loss. Do you teach at OU (the email address)? I have a nephew going there now. I pray that God gives you grace in your grief.

elviemama@hotmail.com. Fred was my uncle. He was a very quick witted man who was guaranteed to make me laugh every time I saw him. I remember spending time at his house on the lake in Louisiana fondly. I am so relieved for him that he is finally resting peacefully after such a long, hard fight.
So very sorry for the loss of a great friend!!! He fought a good fight and is no longer in pain. Prayers for his family and God Bless you all
