My deepest sympathy to the family and friends for the loss of your loved one, Martha Elizabeth, and may Almighty God offer you comfort through His written word, the Bible about a future time, right here on His (this) earth, when He'll undo "EVERYTHING" that is now causing mankind's pain, suffering and sorrowing, please read 1Corinthians 15: 26, Acts 24: 15, Revelation 21: 4, 5.

I am so sorry for your loss. Martha was such a wonderful, bubbly young lady. A relationship with Martha is not forgettable. I only knew her through our class times at SMU, but our class cohort group will greatly miss her presence going forward. I so enjoyed reading the parts of Martha's life story that you published on this site. Clearly, Martha was a good and faithful servant of the Lord. I'm sure she left quite a legacy through all of the obedient choices she made to demonstrate God's love to others during her life. May God give you his unexplainable peace during this obvious time of sadness.

Martha. My beautiful best friend of 14 years. My heart aches so much that you are not here with us any more. I know we should be celebrating your face to face meeting with Jesus. And I do deep down. But you are my best friend. You are my sister. My sister friend. The person I could call WHENEVER I needed prayers. Girl we have prayed for each each other through so much. Didn't matter what it was. Death of a pet. Death of a family member. Or a friend. We have prayed for each other when we were studying or practicing getting ready for big tests or recitals. You taught me how to be a prayer warrior. You lead the way.
You have ALWAYS been such a great listener. Even if you really didn't want to hear it... you still listened because you wanted to be there for me. There is no one else on this Earth like you Martha. You are so special. And I'm going to miss you for the rest of my life.
Fly high beautiful. You are with Jesus now! How exciting!!!
Love always,
Anna Rushing

The first time I met Martha she threw herself in my arms and said, "Hi" with that beautiful smile and eyes with long lashes. She always made me smile. Sweet Angel you will be missed.

Martha will be greatly missed. What a blessing she was to so many. I loved her spirit of joy and compassion. I will not be able to see, or do, the thumbs up sign without thinking of my friend and co-teacher, Martha. I have comfort knowing that our paths will meet again.
